Edward Ventura plays Buckeye, a reclusive singer-songwriter at his wits end with his musical muse, a being locked away in the cellar of his family home. When the muse decides she will no longer lend her “talents” to Buckeye’s final recording sessions for his new record, an argument ensues between the two — a duel that quickly escalates beyond words.

MICHAEL BIZZACO & MICHAEL HIGGS are a writer/director duo based in Providence, Rhode Island. They have been making films together for over ten years. Together, they have developed, shot, and self-distributed three narrative shorts and a feature. Their short film, “Twelve Dollar Words” was an official selection at the Rhode Island International Film Festival 2016. “Jonagold,” their first horror film, will be world-premiering at FilmQuest 2019.
